Subscription and Submission Information

Submission of Manuscripts

Submitted manuscripts should contain some definable and original contribution to the fund of social scientific knowledge of political and military sociology. Short and quality articles (not to exceed 20 typed double-spaced pages) including endnotes and references are preferable to long ones. The final selection process involves securing the most scholarly, critical, analytical, and original papers. Manuscripts are evaluated by the editors or guest editors, editorial board, and special referees. The author should submit four copies along with an abstract of less than 100 words for each manuscript. The editors and guest editors rely heavily on the judgements and recommendations of the reviewers although they do not always bind by them. There is a $15 submission fee to help defray the costs of processing and reviewing manuscripts. A copy of the guidelines for manuscript preparation is available upon request. Please do not e-mail manuscript submissions.
